Kingfisher
A charming and spacious one-bedroom cottage, Kingfisher Cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a roomy living/dining area, a double bedroom, a kitchen, and a shower room, making it ideal for couples. Located on the first floor at the western end of our 300-year-old Cornish stone barn conversion, this cottage is all on one level. Like Oaktree Cottage, Kingfisher has its own parking space, entrance, and porch area, perfect for storing coats, boots, rods, bags, and umbrellas.
Outside, you’ll find a lawned garden area with a picnic bench, parasol, and BBQ, perfect for enjoying summer evenings and watching the sunset. Guests at Kingfisher and Oaktree Cottages may even spot the local herd of red deer as they venture out from the woods at the top of the meadow! Oaktree Cottage is the perfect relaxing one-bedroom hideaway, making it the ideal space for couples. Oaktree is one of our smallest rentals but provides a more than comfortable retreat for those looking to explore the stunning Cornwall area, fish at Rivermead, or simply unwind and reconnect with their partner.
Oaktree is filled with the essentials needed to enjoy this home away from home, every detail being lovingly thought of, ready to make your couples break with us in the Cornish countryside the very best it can be.
