A country hideaway
A charming and spacious one-bedroom cottage, Oaktree Cottage offers cosy accommodation with a comfortable south-facing living/dining area, a double bedroom, a kitchen, and a shower room, making it ideal for solo guests or couples.
Located on the first floor at the eastern end of our 300-year-old Cornish stone barn conversion, this cottage is all on one level. It has its own parking space, front door, and porch area, perfect for storing coats, boots, rods, bags, and umbrellas.
Outside, you’ll find a lawned garden area with a picnic bench, parasol, and BBQ, perfect for enjoying summer evenings and watching the sunset. Guests staying in Oaktree Cottage regularly spot some of the local red deer herd as they venture out from the woods at the top of the meadow, and the spotted woodpecker is a frequent visitor to the bird feeders.
