A wonderful place for us all to relax. Rivermead Cottages really is a beautiful place and Bluebell was very clean and comfortable. Everything is neat and tidy and all you could need is in the cottage. There are lovely grounds to explore and very friendly and welcoming hosts. The Ground Floor
The accommodation in this two bedroom holiday cottage near Bodmin is mainly on one level, with a small single step from the convenient parking area into the entrance hall. You can park right outside the door without having to walk far.
Just inside the door is a great space for hanging coats – or sunhats and beach towels – and leaving bags and shoes. To the left of the front door, and up one small step, you’ll find a comfortable, pretty sitting room with views across to the lawn and boules court. It has two sofas, a TV with Freeview, and a dining area with seating for four people to sit around the table. There’s free, full fibre broadband for guests and, once you’ve booked, you’ll have access to your own online guest portal where you’ll find a full inventory of everything in the cottage, as well as plenty of information to help you plan your visit.
Outside the cottage, there’s a dedicated south facing seating area for Bluebell’s guests and we can provide a parasol and charcoal BBQ in the summer.

Cook in Comfort
The kitchen in Bluebell Cottage is well-equipped with all the crockery, glassware, cutlery, and utensils you may need for a self-catering stay.
We provide a kitchen starter pack with washing-up liquid, sponge, J-cloth, kitchen towels, tea towels and oven gloves; although who wants to cook on holiday with so many wonderful places to eat on your doorstep? Everything you’d expect to find in the kitchen is there – electric oven and hob, fridge with icebox, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere – and some things extra, including a Cornish cream tea. We also provide additional freezer space, should you need it, during the summer months.
